Announcing the 2008 PsychSIGN Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.!

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) is pleased to announce the third annual Psychiatry Student Interest Group Network (PsychSIGN) Conference, which will be held from May 2-4 in Washington, D.C. in conjunction with the APA Annual Meeting. The APA is sponsoring the hotel accommodations, conference, and meals from Friday May 2nd through Sunday May 4th for one medical student from each US and Canadian medical school. The conference will include talks given by practiced psychiatrists as well as interactive workshops led by medical students and residents. This is a wonderful opportunity for medical students to meet students from other schools, to learn more about psychiatry, and to learn how to create a broader discussion about psychiatry at their medical schools.
